Steadman made her screen debut in 2007 playing Julia Bertram in Company Pictures' Mansfield Park.[1] In April 2007 she played Izzy in the original production of Polly Stenham's play That Face at the Royal Court Theatre for which she was praised by critics.[2] She reprised the role in the West End transfer. The cast of the play was nominated for the 2008 Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement or Performance in an Affiliate Theatre.[3] In 2009 she played Daisy, Will McKenzie's former babysitter and love interest in series two of E4's The Inbetweeners. She also appeared as Miss Barnes in the feature film Princess Kaiulani and as Elodie in Dust In 2010 she starred opposite Jacqueline Bisset in the Hallmark film An Old Fashioned Christmas.[4] She can be seen in the forthcoming films Salmon Fishing in the Yemen , Outpost Black Sun[5] and as the new face of O2 for the advertising campaign 'Things Are Changing' in 2012. She trained at the Oxford School of Drama.
